Gatto is a table lamp designed in 1960 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Italian lighting manufacturer Floss. The diffused light it emits creates a pleasant and pleasant atmosphere in every space. The internal structure of the lamp is made of steel coated with white powder, while the diffuser is made of a sleeve - a cover formed from artificial resin fibers. Thanks to transparent protective coatings and a sprayed finish, the form of the lamp resembles the cocoon or pod of the larvae of various insects, especially caterpillars before they transform into butterflies.
