Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù, 1971.
The main feature of the PARENTESI lamp from Flos is its flexible and adjustable light direction. This iconic spotlight still impresses today with its functional and intelligent design.
The bracket consists of a reflector that slides along a tensioned steel cable, thanks to the shape of the steel tube that guides it. The cable is simply fixed by screwing into the ceiling and reaches a maximum length of 400 cm.
Flos PARENTESI is a design classic from 1970, which won the Compasso d'Oro design award. The lamp body is available with a white, black, red or chrome finish. Another light element can be added to the lamp.
