Premium corporate lighting asks for four things that standard office fittings rarely deliver: lighting zones planned in advance, colour temperatures chosen deliberately rather than by default, glare and shadow kept under control at every desk, and consistency maintained across every floor of the building.
The aim is not more light. A meeting room lit to the same level as a warehouse is uncomfortable to sit in for an hour, and a reception lit flatly gives away that nobody thought about it. The aim is a balanced, deliberate result where each area has the light its use calls for.
