Amalfi is a white ceramic wall light made to be painted the same colour as the wall. Once painted, it stops being an object on the wall and leaves only the light.

It is used in hallways, living rooms and stairwells, often in a row at equal spacing, where the effect works best. The light spreads up and down the wall, making the space feel taller.

It takes ordinary good-quality emulsion paint, the same used on the wall, so it fits even strongly coloured rooms.

Technical: one E27 socket, max 60 W, IP20 for dry rooms, Class II double-insulated, so no earthing is required. Bulb not included.

Several units at equal spacing along a hallway give an even rhythm of light, which is how the model is most often used.
