Binic is a Foscarini table lamp by Ionna Vautrin from 2010, compact and playful. It is inspired by the sea and by the windsocks on boats, and the shape also recalls a loudspeaker, a cartoon character or a totem. The base is matt ABS and hides a metal ballast that acts as a counterweight to the large upper part and keeps the lamp stable; the upper part is glossy ABS, and the parabola and diffuser are polycarbonate.

It sits well on a sideboard, a shelf, a bedside table or a desk, where it reads as an object as well as a light. It comes in six colours: white, anthracite, aqua green, yellow, pink and blue; the price is the same for every colour.

Technical: one E14 source up to 12 W (bulb not included), on/off switch, height 22 cm, weight 0.6 kg. The colour you choose changes the picture and code.
