Inspired by simple geometry and manufactured in Italy, the Discovery Pendant Light by Artemide was designed by Ernesto Gismondi in 2015. Influenced by the slim and light bicycle wheels, the Discovery Pendant Light features a minimal geometry. A thin LED strip is placed inside the aluminum ring with a transparent PMMA diffuser. Seemingly hollow, the transparent interior is filled with light when illuminated, giving the pendant light additional volume. Provides diffused ambient illumination perfect for modern work, commercial and living spaces. Uses a transparent acrylic diffuser. Artemide has a 3-word design philosophy, "the human light," that has guided them since their 1960 start in Milan, Italy.
