Trimless Fire Rated 12V is a downlight with no visible trim: once fitted and plastered, only the lit opening remains, with no metal ring on the ceiling.

It is chosen where the project calls for a clean ceiling without visible detail, most often in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms with suspended ceilings. The fire-rated version is required where the ceiling must retain its fire resistance, for example between floors.

Installation requires plastering after fitting, so it is planned together with the building work rather than added later.

Technical: GU5.3 source, halogen or LED; a 12 V, 50 VA transformer is required and is not included.
