OHM

Ohm is an electro-mechanical lighting system by Davide Groppi, introduced in 2019. It uses a thin single-conductor wire stretched from wall to wall, and the light moves along it like an acrobat on a thin rope. The effect is minimalistic and ethereal. The product was selected for the 2020 ADI Design Index.

The design of Ohm is unobtrusive and focused on the light rather than on the lamp itself. It consists of individual spot lamps suspended on an almost invisible wire; up to four spots can sit on one wire. It can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and the wire is placed from wall to wall or used as a downlight.

Materials: metal and polyamide (PA), in a matt black finish. LED source, 2700 K or 3000 K; IP20 for indoor use. Price on request.
