Tizio is an Artemide table lamp by Richard Sapper from 1972, one of the icons of the Artemide collection and of Italian design. Its articulated arms are kept in balance by counterweights, and the same structure supports the head and powers the light source. Timeless and simple, it has long been a standard choice for the work desk.
What you choose: four models and two colours. Tizio and Tizio LED are the same size (height 66 cm, length 78 cm, maximum height 119 cm), Tizio 35 is smaller (height 56 cm, length 65 cm, up to 100 cm), and Tizio Micro is the smallest (height 43 cm, length 49.5 cm, up to 76 cm). Black is available in every model, white only on the classic Tizio.
Technical details according to Artemide: Tizio and Tizio 35 are 3.3 W and 191 lumens, Tizio Micro 2.7 W and 150 lumens, and Tizio LED uses a 3000 K LED source. The lamp originally used a low-voltage halogen source, and an LED version is now available. The arms and head can be set to any position.
It is used on a work desk, next to a computer or beside an armchair, where directed light is needed. The codes offered are A009010 (Tizio, black), A009030 (Tizio, white), A005010 (Tizio 35), A008100 (Tizio Micro) and A009210 (Tizio LED).
